Two Stapleton teens are accused of distracting a saleswoman at a cell phone store to make off with an armful of phones grabbed from the shop's display cases. 

Police on Monday arrested Tsiah Cook, 16, of Hill Street, and Gerald Green, 17, of the 100 block of Laurel Avenue, accusing them of raiding the Metro PCS store at 585 Bay St. on July 26 with a third as of yet unapprehended suspect.

Both teens denied their involvement in the theft, and laid the blame on their accomplices, a law enforcement source said. 

Green said he was just showing his friends the new-model Samsung Galaxy, telling detectives, "Tsiah told me they scored big in the store and they showed me the cell phones. I had nothing to do with it," the source said.

Both face charges of fourth-degree grand larceny, fourth-and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and petit larceny, according to information from District Attorney Daniel Donovan.
